Forto was founded in 2016 in Berlin, Germany with the first name FreightHub. 
In 2015, the four founders re-joined forces and mapped out what the perfect digital freight-forwarding experience for the shipper of the 21st century. Forto stands for scalable logistics technologies that allows users to own their entire supply chain.
